Comparison of the physical fitness of registered athletes - elevs and the general population of children of the same age category in athletic quadruple
Růžičková, Daniela ; Kašpar, Ladislav (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the comparison of the performance of registered athletes of the elevs category and children of the general population of fifth grade in athletic quadruple. The athletic quadruple consists of 60 metres run, long jump, 600 metres run and cricket ball throw. The main objective is to determine, how much specialization at an early age affects athletic performance. A sub-objective is to compare the performance of registered athletes and children of the general population using mathematical and statistical methods in each selected discipline. The performance measurements took place in the USK Provod club and at the Mírová elementary school in Ústí nad Labem. The total number of the research population is 40 children, 20 registered athletes and 20 children of the general population, 10 girls and 10 boys. The data from my research show that specialization and regular training at an early age were able to significantly influence the performance of registered athletes. The category of registered athletes performs better than the category of children of the general population in all the specified disciplines.

Title: Changes in physical performance of Children at Athletic Preparatory Objectives: Aim of this paper is the diagnosis of physical and technical readiness of young children that are regularly preparing in an athletic course as a preparation for joining ASK Slavia Praha and their readiness for the next step of basic training. Methods: observation, videoanalysis, motor tests Results: During diagnostics of physical readiness via repeated use of a battery of motor tests (60m run, long jump, ball throw, 600m run) it was proven that majority of subjects showed a steady increase in performance. Only with technical activities (long jump, ball throw) there was sometimes a decrease in the results of some children. Also, in these activities the differences among results of subjects started to increase. More talented children increased their results by much more than the less handy. On the contrary, the differences among children in 600m run decreased over time. Key words: Athletic preparation, physical preparation, technical preparation, training, skills, children, athletics, coach, physical development, image sequence from video

Title: Monitoring of athletic preparation and its conditions applied by U7 age group football teams Objectives: This thesis is focused on monitoring of athletic preparation of some of pupils' football teams by using anonymous questionnaires filled up by U7 age group coaches. Six intentionally selected football clubs were studied as per their coaches and technical conditions, available time and space for athletic preparation including trainings for U7 age group. Methods While fulfilling the goals of the thesis, I draw from literary sources focused on children's athletic preparation and questionnaires filled up by U7 age group's coaches of six intentionally selected clubs. My not standardized questionnaire is based on theoretical outlets drawn from relevant literary sources and was distributed personally during U7 age group tournaments. While evaluating the answers, I focused on general and experimental questions separately. I sorted them into five different fields: available coaches, training sessions, their structure and content, available material background, the selected team-skeleton and the stress they have to undergo during individual matches or tournaments. Finally, I considered the obtained results and compared them between the clubs themselves as well as with the theoretical outlets I've...

Also a set of exercises for testing the basic coordinative abilities was created. These exercises are suitable for children between the ages of 6 and 8. Methods: In this bachelor thesis the following methods were used: descriptive analysis, questionnaires, observation and data analysis. Results: With the help of the questionnaire one found out that the spectra of motional activities by children from the primary school level gradually extends hand in hand with their age. Another finding was the fact that more than the half of the interviewed children attends also another kinetic group than just the athletic one. Floorball had the major representation among them. Three exercises from the set were defined as unsuitable for children between the ages of 6 and 8. These were the exercises 7, 9 and 16. Exercises of this kind should be included into the training later. Key words: Athletic preparation, physical preparation, coordination abilities, training, children, athletics, coach
